African Swine Fever (ASF) continues to spread further and threatening the global swine industry, with more than 77% of the world’s swine population being hold in an infected area.
Recent events, such as the detection of the virus in Greece, highlight the importance of cross-country collaboration in disease control and of raising awareness among stakeholders to invest in preventive measures.
In the absence of an effective commercially available vaccine, Europe, the United States and Canada are making substantial efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.
